How Do I Become a Transporter?

Thank you for your interest in becoming a transporter for Wheels!  As a transporter, you are an independent contractor that will have the flexibility to set your own hours and earn income working for yourself!

Here are step by step instructions on how to apply to become a transporter:

Step 1 - The Application

Complete the requested information in the Transporter Application Form

Your phone number 

The city in which you will be transporting

Our bikes weigh 45 pounds

Do you have a vehicle?

Your current street address  

Your apartment/unit number

Your city

Your state

You will need to provide your Social Security number for 1099 employment verification

Please read the terms and conditions and accept

Congratulations!  Your application has been accepted.

Step 2 - The Wheels App

If you do not already have the Wheels app on your phone, download it from either the AppStore for iPhones or Google Play Store for Androids

Enter the 4 digit code to verify your account.  If you do not receive this code, be sure to check the Wheels app settings on your phone and make sure that notifications are enabled.

From the Menu screen, toggle on for Transporter Mode

Select Add Payment Info

Next, set up your Stripe account by completing the information needed to report your income for tax purposes.  Select Individual.  Enter the phone number that you will be using to transport.  Enter your email address.  Select Continue.

Enter the verification code you receive.  Also, you will find the terms and conditions for your Stripe account here at the bottom of the screen.

Next, enter the banking information of the account you would like to receive payouts.  Choose your bank account or a debit card.  Check for accuracy so that your payouts are not delayed.

Congratulations!  You’re all set and ready to transport.  You will need to verify your ID upon scanning in your first device so be sure to carry that with you.
